Skills Shop - Leigh (Learning and Employment Service)
The Learning and Employment Service works with a range of community organisations to support new learning or people wanting to take part in learning and work. A team of qualified Careers Advisers provide information, advice and guidance to anyone 18 and over, on any issue relating to learning and work.
The service is free, impartial and confidential. Whether you want to improve your career prospects, develop your skills, get a qualification or just make the most of your job, the service can help you. The service offers a range of personal, family and community development activities delivered by qualified staff.
Eligibility Criteria (Who is this service for?)
Careers Advice and Guidance unemployed 18 year olds and any one 19 and over.
Learning and training 19 plus. The team has extensive experience of supporting people with a range of needs, many of whom have multiple barriers to overcome.
